Ho acquistato questo ferro verticale in offerta con il black friday dopo averlo a lungo monitorato… Peccato non averlo comprato prima! Facilissimo da usare e si ottiene una stiratura eccezionale in pochissimo tempo! Sulle camicie non dà ovviamente lo stesso risultato di un ferro da stiro classico, ma vengono comunque lisce e senza pieghe (io l’ho utilizzato per delle camicie in viscosa o cotone leggero).
L’ho usato anche su dei pantaloni di cotone (non jeans) e su un paio di giacche, ho ottenuto veramente dei risultati sorprendenti. Allego foto di una giacca foderata prima e dopo averla stirata con questo ferro. Ho impiegato 5-6 minuti e circa mezzo serbatoio di acqua. Sono super soddisfatta dell’acquisto, veramente impressionata delle prestazioni considerato il prezzo ridotto dell’articolo. I purchased this product so I could reshape the crowns and brims in my cowboy hats. This can easily generates enough heated steam and allows for precise application of steam to a desired area without affecting adjacent areas. It heats up very fast and has a small tank that needs refilling in about 3 minutes but i am okay with that. It is light weight and lacks the bulk of a larger one so it is easy to manuver. You must always handle with care as the steam will burn you if unprotected skin is exposed. Highly recommend!

I’ve had this garment steam cleaner for a few weeks now. I bought it for a particular job. I have curtains that are 20 feet wide with a 5 feet drop. I loathed the idea of taking them down, along with the swags, to get dry cleaned. A huge job, and expensive.
This product type is well packed, it has few controls to master. You just remove the tank with the two clips, pull off the rubber stopper and fill it up with 250 mls of water, and clip it back into place. Then you just need to squeeze the trigger for the steam. You might need an extension chord for things like curtains.
My advice would be to master your steaming technique on something you are going to throw out! Its easy, but you need to make sure you don’t overdo it, and wet the material. For curtains, that might mean leaving a water mark. I found stretching the fabric with one hand and moving it up and down with the other worked well. I haven’t used the brush yet. I practised on an old duvet. The trick is not too get the fabric too wet.
Once I was happy with my technique I tried it on a few polo shirts that usually need ironing. The results were good enough to wear to the pub.
Then I did the curtains. My extension lead is heavy duty. It needs to be able to take 1100 watts, minimum, and be fully extended. I went over both sides of the curtains. They are lined so really it was the outside of each. I took about an hour. The result was very rewarding. No need to get them dry cleaned, and I hope I can forget about them for another ten years. Perhaps i’ll do them again before warranty runs out, in 2 years time. I’d buy one again, highly recommended.

The PurSteam steamer arrived today. I put it together and used it this evening on several items. It worked like a charm. Many wrinkles fell out of garments because of the steam from the PurSteam. The unit generated steam that was plentiful and the it was easy to operate. I enjoyed using my new toy profitably. If someone is looking for a good one, from my limited experience with this model, I think it would be worth trying. But, after offering that due praise, I can’t avoid a negative observation. Sure the unit was made in China. It says that plainly on the box and on the bottom of the unit itself. Nevertheless, according to everything I can see, it is being handled and marketed by an American firm in Wyoming. That matters because the instructions and other information about this is found in the owner’s manual, which is in English. Bad English. Moreover, a sentence may be half through at the bottom of a page, but when the page is turned, there may be no trace of the remainder of the unfinished sentence at the bottom of the previous page. In turn, words are either misspelled or there are typos–same outcome. Furthermore, the instructions are sometimes worded in a cryptic manner and the statements that are made to give instructions to the assembler or operator need better illustrations. Someone who knows standard English and someone who is gifted at explaining the mechanics of assembling this item should have a look at the booklet and put it into better shape. If no one has the will to do so, then, someone should at least clean up the content of the booklet for the sake of buyers. It’s a great product. The manual should be at least as good.

After purchasing this, i think i use the iron about 90% less then i use to. I wear a lot of clothes that do not require perfect lines from ironing, i.e. smart suit shirts. For when i do, i have to use an iron, all other times to get rid of creases and not look like it has just come out of the washing machine, i use this! Just wish i bought this years earlier. The only downside to this is that the water does run out after 2 items but it takes about 1 min to refill and start again.
