Cons:
Using the Laser Level :
1. Prepare the Work Surface:
To ensure best performance, select a stable work surface meeting the following criteria:
- Well built construction to support the laser level.
- Levelness within 4 degrees of true level to facilitate precise alignment.
- Minimal vibrations to prevent interference with the laser’s precision.
- Position the surface at a 90° angle to the work area for efficient projection.
2. Power On:
Activate the Milwaukee Cross Line Laser by switching it on using the designated power button.
3. Self-Leveling Mechanism:
Upon activation, the tool automatically initiates the self-leveling process. Place it on a surface within 4 degrees of true level, ensuring that the dial is unlocked and the power is on. This ensures the accuracy of the laser alignment.
4. Ready Status Confirmation:
Monitor the emitted lines projected onto the work surface. Once these lines become continuous and stationary, the tool is ready for use. This indicates that the self-leveling process has been successfully completed, and the laser is accurately aligned.
5. Error Detection and Resolution:
In the event that the tool fails to achieve a level state, as evidenced by the work surface exceeding a 4-degree deviation from true level, the laser beams will flash rapidly at a rate of 3 flashes per second. If this occurs, rapidly relocate or adjust the work surface to fix the discrepancy and ensure accurate alignment.
By following these steps, you can effectively utilize the Milwaukee Cross Line Laser to achieve precise and reliable results in your projects.
